How it Works... - Merchant uses in-store displays for cards
- Customer purchases gift card with cash, check or credit card for any dollar amount.
- Amount purchased is recorded in the host database through the POS terminal.
- Cardholder presents the gift card for partial or full payment of a purchase
- Merchant swipes card through thier POS terminal for authorization and transmission of the transaction.
- If full value of card is not used, the customer can use the remaining value at a later time.
